
The Ellis Sanders House (ESH) is a unique bed
and breakfast in Nauvoo, Illinois. It is an exquisite,
red-brick federalist home, one of the best preserved
from the 1840s in Nauvoo. Today, it captures
the unique history and spirit of old Nauvoo.
We look forward to sharing it with you as our
guests. We offer two luxurious guest rooms, each
with private a bathroom and outstanding views
of the Mississippi River.
Amenities include fine antiques, quality linens,
queen size beds, loveseat, and jacuzzi tub; you
will also enjoy gourmet breakfasts and a candlelight
dessert. The ESH enjoys a tranquil and picturesque
location, quietly situated near the Nauvoo State
Park and surrounded by acres of trees, lawns,
and seasonal gardens. The ESH is also close to
the LDS Nauvoo Temple and within walking distance
of many historic sites.
