Driving from the South: Cross the Mississippi River at Keokuk, Iowa and take route 96 North approximately 12 miles to Nauvoo, Illinois. Just as you make the bend into the city turn at the first right, which is Sidney Street (It looks like you are turning into the State Park). At the top of the hill on the corner of Page Street and Sidney Street is the "Ellis Sanders House Bed & Breakfast."

Driving from the North: Take route 96 completely through town, past the Nauvoo Temple. Take the last left onto Sidney Street, before you make the bend of the River Road leaving Nauvoo (It looks like you are turning into the State Park and the "flats". The restored historic area of town will be on your right).
