A Basic Stay at the ESH:

Hot breakfast is served at 9:00am daily on the veranda overlooking the Mississippi River or in the formal dining room. Self service continental breakfast is available earlier if requested.

During your stay, we will plan one candlelight evening dessert for you.

You will also enjoy down pillows, fine cotton sheets, plush towels, fresh flowers in each guest room, European chocolates, and modern air conditioning.

Monogrammed bathrobes are provided (and available for purchase).

There is a phone in each guest room for local calls.

House Rules

Please, adults only. The ESH welcomes guests ages 12 and above.

Please, no pets are allowed.

Smoking or consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the ESH property.

Accommodations will not be offered to persons appearing intoxicated.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy
A deposit of one nights stay is required in advance in order to hold a room for one or more nights. Please remit checks by mail to:

A $40.00 fee is withheld from deposit if canceled within 30 days of reservation date. No refund if canceled within one week of check in time which is 4pm. No refunds during Nauvoo Pageant.
